Richard has an extensive background in project engineering as well as construction. Over the past 25 years, he’s been involved in roadway designs, commercial and residential building site design, and building foundation and structural designs throughout the Northeast. With broad experience in civil engineering design, including drainage, geotechnical, retaining wall design, water and sewer, and environmental issues, his experience reinforces the ability of Williams & Sparages to offer complete engineering services for residential, commercial and municipal projects. Richard is also an effective public speaker, presenting projects to local boards and commissions.
Richard holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. He is a registered professional engineer, a licensed construction supervisor, and certified soil evaluator in Massachusetts.
